Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pool Attendant & Facilities Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming pool environment while supporting general custodial operations throughout the hotel. This role plays an important part in delivering a positive guest experience by ensuring high cleanliness, safety, and water quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Pool Area Duties

• Monitor pool area for cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort
• Maintain proper towel supply and organize pool seating areas
• Clean and sanitize pool deck, furniture, and surrounding areas
• Test, monitor, and balance pool chemicals in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate chemical and maintenance logs
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Enforce pool rules in a professional and courteous manner

Custodial Duties

• Clean and sanitize public areas including restrooms, hallways, and fitness areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash throughout assigned spaces
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and cleaning materials
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as scheduled
• Follow hotel safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification required
• Demonstrated pool operations knowledge, including water chemistry and safety practices
• Previous custodial, hospitality, or pool attendant experience preferred
• Willingness to complete required training and follow proper operational procedures
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
